Construction of 24 Tollroads Calls for Rp 120 Trillion

TEMPO Interactive, Jakarta:The work to build 908 km-long 24 tollroads calls for Rp120 trillion. Some Rp84 trillion will be obtained from banks.

"Only Rp3 trillion has been disbursed as [the money] to clear the land is not available yet," said Fatchur Rochman, General Chairman of the Indonesian Tollroads Association (ATI), at Menara Kadin, on Thursday, May 24, 2012.

Toward this end, the Indonesian Chamber of Commerce and Industry and ATI urge the government to seriously overcome the slow process of clearing the land which will be used for the construction of the tollroads.

The tollroads include Inner Jakarta Toll Road, JIUT, JORR2, Sunter-Pulogebang, Bekasi-Cawang-Kp Melayu, Jakarta-Cikampek, Jagorawi, Depo-Antasari, Pondok Aren-Serpong, Batang-Semarang, Semarang-Solo and Mojokerto-Surabaya.
