KPK to Request PPATK's Help in Angie's Case
Friday, 04 May, 2012 | 14:20 WIB

TEMPO Interactive, Jakarta:If necessary, KPK (anti-graft body) will summon
the assistance of Financial Reporting and Transaction Analysis Center (PPATK) to support the evidence of Angie's role in bribery cases involving Palembang Athlete Village project as well as laboratory equipment supply projects with several universities during 2010 and 2011, said KPK spokesperson Johan Budi SP. on May 3, 2012.

PPATK itself said it has already forwarded the analysis report of suspicious transactions by a number of individuals to KPK in September last year. PPATK spokesman Natsir Kengah said that the report contains the analysis result of more than 2.000 transactions. "We have analyzed over 2.000 transactions and it is the result (LHA or analysis result report) that we sent to investigators," Natsir explained in his sms.

Natsir refused to divulge the names listed in the report. “Go ask KPK; only investigators are allowed to speak,” he said. Johan said upon confirmation that he is not aware of the details yet.

Angie was previously suspected to have received bribes in the 191 billion Athlete Village project but later KPK named her suspect in laboratory equipment case as well.
