FIFA Called On to Assist with Physical Facility Construction

TEMPO Interactive, Jakarta:The All Indonesian Football Federation (PSSI) chairman Djohar Arifin Husin will fly to Budapest, Hungary, to attend FIFA’s 62nd annual meeting, which will take place on May 24 – 25. The PSSI will submit a proposal for coach training and funding for the construction of football facilities.

“We will use the opportunity to get assistance for Indonesia. For instance for coaching and funding for physical construction,” he said yesterday, without mentioning the amount of funds required.

The PSSI received FIFA’s invitation last February 8. The letter, signed by FIFA secretary-general Jerome, said that the invitation applied to three people, PSSI chairman, deputy chairman and secretary-general.
