Interpellation Support for Dahlan Iskan Falls
Wednesday, 18 April, 2012 | 15:53 WIB
TEMPO Interactive, Jakarta:Political support for State-owned Enterprises Minister Dahlan Iskan’s interpellation plans has dropped. The Indonesian Democratic Party of Struggle (PDI-P) and the Prosperous Justice Party (PKS) have rejected the interpellation.
“We won’t support the interpellation,” said PDI-P secretary-general Tjahjo Kumolo in Denpasar yesterday. “Anybody can comment, including DPR members, but an interpellation isn’t necessary,” he added.
The PKS said that support for interpellation plans was withdrawn because Dahlan has revised his policy. “Therefore, substantially, the suggestion for interpellation is irrelevant,” said the DPR’s State-Owned Enterprises commission member, Refrizal.
