Dhana’s Boss Declared Suspect

TEMPO Interactive, Jakarta:The Attorney General’s Office (AGO) has declared Firman, the former boss of taxman Dhana Widyatmika, as a suspect in the tax corruption case. “FRM [initials for Firman] has been declared as suspect starting today,” said AGO spokesman Adi M. Toegarisman on Monday.
Dhana, 38-year-old taxman, has been declared a suspect in the graft case since February. Dhana and his wife Dian Anggraeni have been suspected of having suspicious accounts worth Rp60 billion allegedly gained from graft practices.
Investigators have seized some evidence with regard to the case such as Rp8 billion and Rp20 billion in cash. Furthermore, investigators also confiscated US$270,000 in cash, 1 kilogram of gold, and bonds. Two units of car, the latest Mini Cooper and Daimler Chrysler, have also been seized.
