Nazar to Reveal Project Fee for Democrat Politicians

TEMPO Interactive, Jakarta:Indicted in the corruption case involving the Athlete Hall in Jakabaring, Palembang, Muhammad Nazaruddin, will report some politicians from the Democrat Party to the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK). The politicians, said Nazar, received a fee for the Provincial Infrastructure Development Acceleration (PPID) project.

“He will reveal all at court,” Nazar’s lawyer, Junimart Girsang, told Tempo on Tuesday. This week, a team of lawyers will coordinate with their client to prepare the report. Nazar faces seven years imprisonment and the verdict will be read on April 20.

At the Jakarta Corruption Court, Nazar revealed the role of the Democrat Party, which is headed Anas Urbaningrum. He said that Anas also received a commission from the Manpower and Transmigration Ministry’s PPID project. “I will submit the data to the KPK,” he said.
