GMF to Build US$30 Million Hangar

TEMPO Interactive, Jakarta:The CEO of PT Garuda Maintenance Facilities AeroAsia (GMF) Richard Budihadianto said this year GMF plans to build a hangar with an investment of US$30-40 million. Currently, the company owns three work hangars in Cengkareng. "GMF also plans to build a hangar in eastern Indonesia," said Richard yesterday.
Richard said that GMF had prepared $100 million for investments over the next three years. The subsidiary of PT Garuda Indonesia will expand its strategic business unit, including industrial gas turbine engines (IGTE) through a collaboration with state electricity company PT PLN. The MoU was signed today.
GMF’s assets reached Rp1.5 trillion, said Richard, adding that the company’s profit target is Rp80-100 billion for this year.
