KPK Deposits Rp 331Million Graft Money to State

TEMPO Interactive, Jakarta:The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) has deposited money collected from graft case handling and gratification worth Rp331.17 million to the state cash. “Money from graft case handling worth Rp239.6 million and gratification money worth Rp91.54 million,” said KPK spokesman Johan Budi in a press release received by TEMPO on Friday, Feb. 24.

Johan said all of the money was deposited to the state and regional administration cash as non-tax revenues (PNBP), including the compensation money deposited to the regional administration cash through PLN Lampung worth Rp137,380,120. “The rest is deposited to the state,” said the spokesman.

Johan added that the money collected from graft cases is managed and deposited by the KPK Revenue Treasurer. The revenues include earnings from fine, case fees, auctioning of graft items, confiscation of graft money by court order, compensation money ruled by court, and financial services institution or giro.
