Angelina’s Dismissal Stalled by Anas
Thursday, 09 February, 2012 | 21:23 WIB

TEMPO Interactive, Jakarta:Angelina Sondakh, as of Wednesday, has not been officially dismissed from the post as the Democrat Party Deputy Secretary-General because the recommendation letter from the party’s Honorary Board has not been signed by the board’s member, Anas Urbaningrum, Deputy Chairman of the Honorary Board.

“The Honorary Board only gives recommendation for dismissal, not executing the dismissal,” said Amir Syamsuddin, former Democrat Party Honorary Board secretary, in Jakarta on Wednesday. “The substitute will be decided by the authority of the Central Leadership Board [DPP].”

Amir, who was substituted by T.B. Silalahi for two days before being reassigned to become a member of the Advisory Board of Trustees, said that he had signed the recommendation letter for Angelina’s dismissal. The recommendation letter was also signed by Honorary Board members Jero Wacik and E.E. Mangindaan.
