Fuel Restrictions Policy Further Revised
Tuesday, 07 February, 2012 | 23:17 WIB

TEMPO Interactive, Jakarta:The government has yet to pass the subsidized fuel restriction bill. Cabinet Secretary Dipo Alam said the bill was once again revised by the Energy Minister Jero Wacik. “It may be undergoing [further] revisions. It had been submitted to my desk earlier,” said Dipo.

Dipo believes that the Energy Ministry is still considering the dynamics of fuel restrictions. Such dynamics include the government preparedness in conducting fuel conversion from oil fuel to gas fuel. “The fuel restrictions [bill] will not be approved of the others said they’re not ready. So, just wait,” Dipo added. Dipo ensured that, despite the revisions, the bill will not be much different from earlier versions.

The government will implement fuel conversion from oil fuel to gas fuel. Furthermore, the government did not propose for fuel price hike. “Not that I know of,” Dipo went on.
