Automatic Train System to be Tested Next Year

TEMPO Interactive, Bandung:The Transportation Ministry’s Railway Directorate General’s railway safety director Hermanto Dwiatmoko, said that automatic train systems would be tested next year. The system is intended to anticipate potential future accidents due to human error.


So far, the system still relies on people. He mentioned that for train signals, the conductor must make sure the train stops at red lights.
